Bus Bars meet OEM product, dimensional and metallurgical specifications; they are precisely designed to be compatible with the Hybrid Battery Pack modules. Nickel Plating provides additional protection to copper against corrosion and tarnishing while retaining its excellent conductive properties. Together with solid stainless steel wide flange nuts, the kit will result in a clean and more efficient connection of Hybrid Battery Pack modules for long-lasting repair. Wide Flange Hex Nuts are, made of solid DIN/ISO A2-70 Stainless Steel, corrosion-resistant steel, also known as ASTM-304.A2 / ASTM-304 (18-8) Stainless with 18% Chromium & 8% Nickel content. Due to their metallurgical properties, stainless steel wide flange nuts are an excellent choice to use in an abrasive environment, such as Hybrid Battery module terminals. In addition, the wide flange surface is designed to distribute the pressure more evenly against the module terminal, resulting in a larger area of contact, which improves conductivity (see the image with FEA analysis of a pressure profile at 48 lb-in torque as compared to typical DIN 6923 flange nut). CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY; therefore, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please reach out to us and we will do everything we can to resolve any issue you might have with the order.
Package Contents 18 Bus Bars (required for 20 modules), 40 Wide Flange Nuts (Please note, we typically include extra hardware for "just in case" unexpected scenarios)
Compatible with Toyota Prius C, (2012-2017)
Wide Flange Nuts Material 304 Stainless Steel; Thread M5-0.8
Please note, compared to any other flange nuts on the market, the flange of ACENBAY nuts is wider than typical DIN 6923 flange nuts and is similar width to OEM flange nuts. The FEA analysis (see the image of FEA pressure analysis) shows a better, uniform distribution of pressure on the terminal at 48 lb-in torque when the flange is wide. In addition, our flange nuts do not have serrations, which can cause damage to the sensor plate on the wiring harness side of the hybrid battery.
This was used on a 2016 Toyota Fielder Wagon N165 Hybrid vehicle (Japanese variant). These were professionally installed and after installation I saw the difference with the battery charge cycles. The battery charges quicker and I can now run on battery power for about 25 mins on a full battery charge. This never happened before.I recommend these bus bars but make sure and have them checked periodically because of the necessary maintenance (cleaning) while in use.
